Obsidian is sick, but it takes a lot of setup to get it to work just right. That’s what WeWrite App aims to do better.

Add the following keyboard shortcuts

• cmd + t for “today’s daily note”
• cmd + y for “previous day’s note”
• cmr + r for “random note”
  • you must go into your Plugins and enable Random Note for this to work … ghetto as fuck

Extensions to install

In graph view, add -/\\d{4}-\\d{2}-\\d{2}/ as a filter to hide all notes beginning with YYYY-MM-DD so your daily notes don’t show up in the graph view

Do not give into temptation to create directory structures. Just interconnect your notes. WeWrite will enforce this with No directory structure

Once WeWrite App is built, you’ll be able to Import from obsidian.
